Lyme disease can and does lead to fatalities. Click Here for links to scientific journal articles with regards to Lyme and fatalities. This section of the website is for honouring the memory of those patients either lost to Lyme, or lost while battling Lyme and the complications due to lack of recognition and awareness. Sadly, there are too many patients lost worldwide for me to report, though along with the list of Australian Lyme patients below,  I have provided links to overseas Lyme memorial websites. 

For patients living in Australia that have lost their lives either to Lyme, or whilst living with Lyme, please click on the names/ links below. There is also a link below to the What is Lyme Memorial site which lists overseas patients lost to Lyme and invisible illness. 

Please note: The below list is only as complete as the deaths that I have been made aware of in Australia since 2010. Also, out of respect for those family members that would like to grieve privately, it does not include all known deaths. Many other names of those passed have been added to the public facebook group: Graves' Graves Australia.
